Dr. Christy Lighthouse is a native Nevadan and has been part of the Kroll and Lighthouse practice since 1999. She graduated in 1994 from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction. Following her undergraduate degree, Dr. Lighthouse attended Pacific University College of Optometry and graduated in 1999 with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Lighthouse's education and training has given her the ability to manage diverse populations with numerous ocular diseases and conditions including: glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, corneal disease and dystrophy, and ocular infections. She takes a special interest in fitting advanced contacts including rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses for keratoconus.
When Dr. Lighthouse is not practicing optometry, she enjoys hiking the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains and playing tennis. She also likes to try different restaurants and spend time with her family.
