Kara Kroll O.D.
Dr. Kara Kroll is a native Northern Nevadan who was born and raised in the “Biggest Little City.” After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno, she obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry.
Following graduate school, Dr. Kroll entered a fellowship program which included extensive experience in eye disease and treatment of glaucoma. During her tenure at Nevada Eye Consultants, she co-managed and treated patients in LASIK, PRK, ICL and cataract surgeries and achieved certification in glaucoma treatment over the past 3 years. In addition to eye disease diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Kroll enjoys providing family eyecare which includes general eye exams, prescribing corrective eyewear and all types of contact lenses. She is also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Nevada Optometric Association.
Dr. Kroll often participates in organized runs within the Reno/Tahoe area and exercises at her gym whenever possible. In addition, she and her husband, Frank, enjoy going to live music events and frequent concerts around town.
